Just a few days ago The Bee published a letter
frJitt a Nebraska boy "over there."
"It was lonely out here," the boy wrote. '
"For weeks .we didn't hear or see anything from
home and we were homesick.

world and all to them to the boys in the trenches.
"And we'll teach the Germans what Omaha and
Nebraska stand for," was the final sentence of the sol
dier letter. v
