For many months the Company has been prepared and ready to build. But on account of the building prohibition of the Federal War Board, the Company's progress has been very much delayed. The excavation contractors have completed their work. The contract for the immense concrete and steel footings is now being rushed to completion by the Vaughan Con struction Company. Mr. Vaughan, the head of this Company, had charge of the construction of the W. O. W. Bldg., The First National Bank Bldg., The City National Bank Bldg., besides a number of other very large buildings in Omaha. The plans and specifications have been prepared by Oscar Wiegand, Architects, and the Concrete Engineering Company of Omaha. The Overland Tire and Rubber Company's orders are: "Rush the Building With All Possible Speed" Without a doubt The Overland Tire and Rubber Company's factory will be the largest factory of this kind west of Akron, Ohio. It will have the equipment to take care of 1,000 tires and 1,000 inner tubes per day, besides a full and complete line of all kinds of rubber goods, such as belting for all machinery, hose of all kinds, molded, mechanical and surgical rubber goods. The Company is now offering their second issue of stock to the public and for a short time, it can be bought at $10.00 per share. The same opportunity that made hundreds and thousands of men and women independently wealthy in and around Akron, O., is now given you The Same Man Who Built That Factory Is Going to Build the Overland Tire and Rubber Factory LOWERS ' THE MAN! Mr. Blowers is vice president and general manager of the Overland Tire and Rubber company. He began the rubber business at the age of 17 and has been actively engaged in the rubber manufacturing business for twenty seven years. If he does not understand the rubber business today, no man does. Mr. Blowers has a practical working knowledge of preparing rubber compounds for the building of all kinds of tires, tubes, truck tires, etc., as well as all kinds of mechanical rubber goods. During his twenty-seven years of active work he was assistant superintendent and general foreman for the N. Y. Belting and Packing company, Passaic, N. J.; general superin tendent and assistant general manager for the United Globe Rubber company, Trenton, N. J., and general super intendent of the Dunlop Tire and Rubber. company of Toronto, Canada. Note the cut and his record with this last named company above. J mi Cum - m t . Built in 1906 by W. R. Blowers, which has more than a dozen branch houses today located throughout the United States and Canada. Turned out over $7,000,000 worth of goods last year. Each investment of $1,000 in this company after two years became worth over $50,000. Can he do it again? The opportunity is greater today than it was in 1906. It is Mr. Blowers' sole ambition to duplicate this record here in Omaha, as near as possible. THE COMPANY: The Overland Tire and Rubber company is incorporated under the per share and is issued fully paid, non-assessable and transferable. laws of the State of Nebraska for $2,500,000. The stock is all common, with a par value of $10 Each share has one vote. The company has no bonds, mortgages or debts of any character. Tl T!TT) r ACCD mpiiisjnieQi .' Over $750,000 Already Subscribed for by Over One Thousand, Four Hundred Stockholders in Nebraska and Iowa r,,: vrrriMti-' This $750,000 was raised at the rate of $50,000 to $75,000 per week. In the face of the great est war that was ever known. Now that the war is practically over and so much has already been accomplished on our proposition, we'predict that the balance of the stock will go much more rap idly. Over $30,000 has been expended for the location, on which the excavation or ground work is completed. Over $22,000 has been paid out for machinery, of which several carloads have already been received, and Mr. Blowers returned Saturday from Akron, Ohio, and other eastern points, where he went to let the contract for $60,000 more of machinery. The Immense Business That is Staring Us in the Face The Overland Tire and Rubber company will cater to the rubber business of Arizona, Cali fornia, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North and South Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Wyoming. Omaha is located prac tically in the center of these twenty western states with eleven railroads radiating in all directions. In 1917 there were over 2,000,000 autos in use in these states, calling for something like 10,000, 000 tires per year. Last year Nebraska bought 18,000 new autos. The other states did equally as well. - At that rate, five years from now instead of 2,000,000 autos there will be at least 3,000,000 to 4,000,000 calling for 15,000,000 to "20,000,000 tires instead of 10,000,000. Do you grasp the immensity of this business? Now is the time to buy this stock while you can get it at its lowest price. Enough has already been accomplished to warrant us in advancing the price of this stock to $12 or even $15 per share. Buy Now Before the Advance Takes Place The place to invest your money is where the moneyed men invest. Here is what they are do ing: One business man has invested over $75,000, another over $50,000, numbers at $20,000 and lesser amounts. The Overland Tire and Rubber factory will be 75x400 feet, five stories in height, giving us 150,000 square feet of floor space. Back of the factory will be a power house equipped to supply 2,500 horsepower. B INFORMATION COUPON Overland Tire and Rubber Co. ...... ... .v. . . . ... . . .t-. . . 1919. Omaha, Neb.
