reason why candy is not considered
a staple article of diet is that it is

that give only heat and energy.
Hence a large quantity of sugar or

Your daily bread! Is it made in a waste
saving manner? Has it full food value?
Do you buy it in big loaves?
The big loaf of feetutfete, is the best answer to
the bread question. It is baked in a waste-saving,
model bakery. You get the nourishment that you
need and pay for. It is baked only in big loaves.
That means utmost saving in fuel, labor, materials;
also in wrapping and delivery expense. J$du(fazi
bread saves waste in the home. It holds its fresh
ness and flavor and none of it is wasted

' Shall She Marry Him?
Dear Miss Fairfax: I have been
going about with a young man for
about a year. We were both em

we were merely good pals. .He told

no one ever takes me to be more

there is too much difference In our
ages? On that account I wouldn't
marry him before he went away.
DISCOURAGED.
The next time the question of
marriage comes up between you,
don't you think you should tell your
age to this young man, as you would
tell him anything else about your
self? Then you can both think the
question over and discuss it Ten
years' difference in age need not
necesarily be a barrier to marriage
if the lovers are suited to each other
in every other respect.

The wisest thing for you to do is
to try not to think of this young man
as a lover any longer. This isn't
easy, of course. But no girl wants
a reluctant lover. So do your best
not to be bitter because of this ex

next interesting relationship that
life may offer you.
How Convince Her?
Dear Miss Fairfax: I am 27,
good position, considered handsome,
neat in appearance and well dressed.
I am engaged to a lady of 20. Re
cently she met a sailor who has been
paying very much attention to her.
When I invited her to go out with
me she refused and said she was go
ing out with a man in uniform. She
has called me a slacker for claiming
exemption, but I assure you it is not
my fault, as I have a mother de
pending upon me for support. I
would like very much to prove to
her that I am not what she brands
me as being and that I still love her.
Will you please let me know which
is the best way to convince her?

Dear Miss Fairfax: I have been
happily married for five years. Re
cently I went to the country for six
weeks and was called back suddenly
by my husband's illness. I nursed
him for three weeks, day and night
Now, while he was sick, a young lady
called up several times, but never
would tell me who she was. After
he was well he told me everything.
He met the girl at a party. He went
to her home several times. Her
parents, thinking he was a single fel

girl Is now frantically in love with
him. My husband knows he made
a mistake, and is sorry. Should I
forgive him? What should I do
about the girl? Should I tell the
parents, or would it be better not to
say anything? A. B.
I should say that this unhappy
situation Is likely to straighten itself
out If you can succeed in kteplng
your self-control and acting as
though everything were as usual..
Since your husband has told you the
whole story and admitted that he
has done wrong, I do not see why
you cannot forgive him. But ha

affair with the very indiscreet young
