Hogs There was a light run of hogs
here today estimated at 6.300 bead. Re
ceipts for the week are 8,000 more than
last week or about 68 000 head. Today'a
trade was very lively affair at an ad
vance of 10 20c over Friday's prices. Bulk
of the hogs sold at 817.2S1T.60 and tops
went to 817.60. Trade has been good all
week quality showing a gradual Improve.

Sheep There were no fresn arrivals In
the sheep barn this morning, receipts for
the week totaling 46,900 head. A little
weakneas was ahown In the fat lamb trade
the fore part of the week but the close
Is active at prices steady with last week's
close. Fat lambs are selling generally
from 814.26. to 814 80 with a quotable top
of 816. Feeder recelpta are light now but
demand has been good for the few coming.
Selling a trifle better than the close last
week, from 812.60 to 814. Sheep are gen
erally ateady with the decline ahown the
fore part of the week with ewes at 88!,
wethers $.60li.j5 and yearlings up to
810.76. .

v Chicago. Nov. 30 Profit taking on the
part of yesterday's buyers brought about
declines today in the corn market. Pricea
rallied quickly during a temporary re
moval of thla preaaure. When selling waa
renewed, however, the- downturns began
again. Opening quotations, which varied
from unchanged figures to c lower, with
December at 81.27 V and January at
31.28V to 31.28, were followed by
sharp setbacka all round.
Month-end and covering by ahorta led
subsequently to a notable bulge In the
November option, but actual business in
that dellveray was light. Pricea closed
unsettled, 3c net lower to 6V4o advance,
with December 31.27 to $1.27 Vi and Jan
uary 31.26H to 31.26 .
Oats reflected the weakness of corn.
Trade was fairly active. After opening
Vic off to Vfco up, with January at 72V4c
to 7254c, the market underwent a de
cided general sag.
Not much buying power waa evident
In the provision pit. Lard and ribs,
though, displayed some firmness, notwith
standing. No Important aetback took plac In the
late dealings.
