ceipts of other cereals were reported today.
Wheat receipts were 10 cars; corn, 75 csrs;
oats, 14 cars; rye, 1 car, and barley none.
Strong cash prices featured the spot mar
ket today, corn ahowlng a general advance
ranging from to to 60 per bushel, the white
making the greatest gain. Trade was light
up to 11:10 o'clock, only a round dosen
car being reported sold. The demand for
all classes wa slow. No sales of th No.
1 grade were poated . up to a 1st hour.
No. 1 white sold at $1.10. No. 1 yellow at
11.66 to $1.66tt. No. 4 white at $1.80 to
11.81. On car of No. 1 mixed brought
$1.60.

tration bill authorizing issuance of
$8,000,000,000 additional in Liberty
bonds and providing an additional $1,
500,000,000 for loan to the allies, re- .
cently passed by , the house, was
passed late today by the senate with
out amendment or a roll call. It now
goes to President Wilson.
The bill, which was recommended ,
by the Treasury department in an
ticipation, of the fourth. Liberty loan
in October, increases to $22,000,000,
000 the authorizations for bond issues
made since the war began. The new
bonds would bear interest at not more
than 4i per cent
There was no opposition to the
bill and comparatively brief debate.
Senator Simmons of North Carolina
chairman of the finance committee,
in explaining the measure, said the
government's requirements this fiscal
year are estimated about $24,000,000,
000 but that this might have to be
increased. -
Senators Smoot of Utah and Mc
Cumber of North Dakota, said the
measure should authorize ?1Z,000,0(X).. '

Hostile Air Craft
Near Coast of Jutland
Washington, July 5. A German
airplane was lost off the western coast
of Jutland last night with its crew,
according to an official dispatch to
day from Copenhagen. The plane was
one of a squadron of four flying at
full speed toward the south and was
seen from the shore to fall. A Danish
lifeboat went to the aid of the avia
tors, but could rescue none. ; , '
