OMAHA, SUNDAY MORNING, JUNE 23, 1918. 1 wire TALLY rin ALT 10 v 1VL lill 2 Z -in ?p' u i i 1 i ! A great salt dome exists at High Island, Texas, 48 feet high, covering nearly 2,000 acres. v This dome, or mound, was caused by gas passing through salt water hundreds of feet beneath the earth's surface, crystalizing the salt, and causing an expansion, or eruption, leaving this great dome arising from the level land. Great Gusher Oil Fields have been developed ad jacent to domes of similar formation throughout the Great Coastal Oil Districts of Texas. 60,000-barrel gushers were reported from around the famous 200-acre Spindletop dome, near Beaumont, Texas. z 1 V We own 1,000 acres of land near the bate of this great High Island Dome, and ex pect to bring in tremendous gushers on this property. . We offer you the opportunity of joining us in our development work, on a ground floor basis, which should make you a fortune. , ' - In order to raise immediate drilling fund, we are selling quarter-acre tracts, with warranty deed, for $30 each, or $120 per acre. It is mighty hard to estimate what th e value of these tracts will be in a : few months, after we bring in oil. One acre in the Humble field sold for $218,750. ' We retain lease, paying tract owners one-tenth royalty from wells drilled on their tracts. On only a 500-barrel well, this one-tenth royalty, with oil at $2 per barrel, would be approximately $36,500 annually. We also issue Profit-Sharing Contract, entitling all tract purchasers to share pro portionately in profits from all wells on the entire 1,000 acres; also in profits from all wells drilled on our positively proven lease in the Humble field, where we know we have the oil. We can show you to your entire satisfaction that even a small investment should bring big returns from the proven lease alone, and a fortune for you when we prove up High Island. Here is good advice. Investigate our proposition. Send for free bulletin with complete information. v .. .-. ! Before that date the decorators and renovators will have made the theater more attractive than it has ever been. Every summer it is the practice of the man agement to appropriate a liberal allowance for im proving the playhouse. It is not, after all, the comfort, coziness and fresh ness of the theater which has so firmly established the Orpheum in Omaha; but rather has it been the quality, of entertainment. Patrons realize that Orpheum vaudeville represents the best, the very best in that kind of amusement. , Dramatic stars, musical comedy favorites, concert celebrities and grand opera prima donnas, elsewhere appearing at extravagant prices, are seen or heard at. the Orpheum at prices ranged from 10 to 75 cents a seat. Note, for example, the celebrities who were brought to the Orpheum last season : Julia Arthur, Ruth St. Denis, Elsie Rueger, Fritzi Scheff, Gertrude Hoff man, Mclntyre & Heath, Trixie Friganza and Emma Carus, and many other great stars. It is promised that next season the stellar showing will even be greater than in the season recently closed. Very likely the new theatrical year of big time vaude ville will be extended for the past season, running forty weeks, went a week longer than it commonly has done. . ",. m '-;.: -;V:v';
