D.; Rapid City, S. D.; Sioux Falls, S. D.; Pierre, S. D.; Mitchell, S. D.; Watertown, S. D. and Hastings, Neb. Special Offers in U. S. Mavy Will Continue to be Wide Open Navy Week a success, but many more men are still needed. So Navy Week will be extended another seven days in order to put Omaha where it belongs - at the top. The Navy will never close for enlistments, but do not wait. Help make this a banner week. Young men in high school, college or university can enroll in the U. S. Naval Reserves for future Naval officer material and continue their studies until they have graduated. Scores of young men have taken advantage of this wonderful, opportunity during the last week. You can do the same by presenting a statement from your school showing that you are in attendance. You may be called for a summer training in seamanship, boat sailing, machine gun and rifle practice, and .drilling, if there is room for you at the Great Lakes Naval Training Station. ,Then you will be allowed'to return ta your studies. You will not be called to active war duty so long as you continue , your school work, except in case of exceptionally great national emergency, which is not expected. If you are under 21 you should have proof of when and where you were born, such as a sworn statement signed by one of your parents. If you are in the draft you must have a release from your local board. WAKE UP! , If 21, Why Wait 1o Register? You can volunteer now in any three of the finest, clean est fighting forces in the world, the U. S. Army, Navy or Marines. You are needed and wanted by all three. You will find each open and above board, telling you the straight facts regarding the service in the one repre sented. Why don't you inquire about them? . If you are 21, and you wait to register, then you will have to get a release to volunteer. You do not need that now.
