eled in matrimonial harness, but have
been homeless in the real sense of the
word.

"A further step has been taken to
ward .the furnished home idea when
the realtor included in the accessories
of his houses the electric light bulbs,
fixtures, curtain rods and curtains, to
conform with the decorative schemes
of the interiors, and which have here
tofore been regarded as personal
property.
"Only a short time ago a fine house
of this kind was sold to a couple be
cause of the detail of a mirror in a
bedroon closet door. It appealed to
the woman."
It is only a step to a home complete
for the newlyweds and shows that
realtors have ideals as well as imagin

For Boxer Who Was Hurt
A benefit boxing entertainment is
being planned for Eddie Moha, a Mil
waukee welterweight, who was seri
ously injured in a bout with Jock Ma
lone of St. Paul several weeks ago,
when the Milwaukee boxer was
knocked out aod suffered a blood clot
on the brain. Malone, among others,
is expected to participate in the bene
fit. Thirty Omaha Real Estate to
Attend National Convention
The hustling committees of the
Omaha Real Estate board reports
that at least 30 realtors, members of
the local association, have planned
to attend the meeting of the national
organization at St. Louis, June 17.
It is probable that the delegation will
travel to the Missouri metropolis in
a special car.
Kansas City Realtors Invite
Omahans to See Their Town
The Realtors of Kansas City have
extended to the delegation of Omaha
realtors who are going to St. Louis
to attend the national convention in
June an invitation to stop off and
be the guests of their organization.
The Omaha delegation will leave here
Sunday, June 16.

Scarcity of Rental Property
In Omaha at Present Time
A realtor who makes a specialty of
rentals sold a house for a man the
other day.
On Friday he received a call from
the man, who was compelled to give
possession to the purchaser, for a
modern house to rent
The realtor, who normally had
from 30 to 400 such places listed, had
to tell his client that there was not
a place in the city available. This
shows the scarcity of rental property
in Omaha at the present time.
Fourteen Residences Are Sold
On "Own-Your-Home" Plan
Fourteen residences, costing from
$2,000 upwards, located in Elmwood
Gardens, have been sold to purchasers
impressed with the "own your own
home" idea by Payne & Slater.
That firm has contracted for five
more houses to be constructed in
the same addition and which will be
