Dry Goods. I
New York, May It. Th cotton goods
markst here today continued holding It
firm tone with buying keeping about the
sams pscs. Governmental need dominated
th market, both buyers and seller see
ing no chsnce ot a change except an in
tensification of this trend. Print cloths
rocelved some steady demand, but there
was a noticeable tendency to let alone
members wanted by the government. Ship
ping difficulties were given as ths reason.
Sheetings were firm at their former level
with no great activity In evidence. Fine
cottons were unchanged.
