This plant will b"6 a model of its kind from an "operating, and
sanitary Btandpoint. The floors will be so constructed that a hose
can be turned on and each floor scrubbed and flushed on the -same
plan as the deck of a battleship.
The policy of the SKINNER PACKING COMPANY will be to
have its plant and building and the operating end better and more
economical than any packing plant in the United States. This will
also apply to its full line of products as to high quality. The operat
ing end will be in charge of an expert who has beeri connected with
the industry for years and'is well known throughout the United
States. The SKINNER PACKING COMPANY products will be
better-goods produced under better sanitary condition.
The plant will be located on a thirty-toe acrt tract just south
and west of the present Swift's plant on the South Side.
The location of the SKINNER PACKING COMPANY'S
PLANT, consisting of thirty-three acres, is excellent One of the
largest underground sewers in South Omaha runs through this
property. There is trackage on the land. Particularly note the
dose proximity of our plant to the general industry. - '

Only 60 of the Live Stock Received in Omaha During 1917 Was Packed Here
Representatives of the Federal Trade Commission state that
independent packing companies are justifiable, and trans-shipping
cattle is going against the face of economic law and adding to the
cost of the consumer. They also state that the shipment of live
stock East instead of dressed meats adds 50 to .the burdens of
the railroads. Omaha is the logical, practical and necessary point
for an independent plant. , ; ' '

now offered at par, $100.00 per share.
This stock is fully participating in the profits ol the company
and is preferred as to dividends. There is no promotion stock
Acreage and Plant will be owned by the Company at the actual
cash value. The Company is organized on a high-grade basis, and
this is a real opportunity for investors to participate in the profits
of the Packing House Industry. Fifty-one per cent of the Common
Stock has been purchased outright at par, $100,00 per share, by
officers of the company. There has been no property turned in to
the Company in lieu of stock.
The financing of the Company will be handled by the Com
pany's officers and' the Board of Directors, and will not be com
mitted to promoters.
