Cattle There was the usual moderate
Friday's run of cattle, about 2.900 head, nnrt
the five days' supply 14,500 head falls 2,500
short of a week ago, but shows an Increase
of 11,000 head aa compared with a year
ago. A strong healthy undertone featured
the trade In fat cattle again today, and
while prices were not quotably higher than
Thursday they were anywhere from 169
25o higher than the low time on Wednes
day. Good cattle sold at (11.85012.85, and
prime beef would , bring (12.25 or better.
Compared with the close of last week the
market la now not more than 1016o lower,
but it has been a very uneven trade through
out In stockers and feeders the market
has shown more activity the past day or
two and desirable kinda are btinxlnr aa

with a fairly liberal run, consisting mostly
of fed lambs, shorn and wooled. Early
