Miss Wilson stated that Levey car-1 ned 6,000 contracts which called for I payments of 25 cents per week. The contracts were from $18.50 to $37.50 each. "Why, just suppose that these women, paid on an average of $10 cacti, there would be $60,000 for Levey. That's what I call making money fast," added Miss Wilson. Stopped Making Payments. Several women told Miss Wilson that they had paid as much as $25 and $30 and then stopped because the promised furniture did not appear. Final decision in Levey's case in police court will be made Saturday morning. He is charged with ob taining money under false pretenses. The court will endeavor to dispose of the case so as to allow housewives who are members of the "savings club" to get value received for the money they have invested. Testi mony has been already introduced, so that the presence of witnesses will not be required Saturday morning. Marvin, Car pathia apartments, were granted a decree' setting aside Mrs. Marvin's decree of divorce by Judge Leslie. lJSdavils filed by both Mr. and Mrs. Marvin petitioning that the de cree be set aside were offered in evi dence, together with Marvin's love letters from Camp Cody to his di vorced wife, in which he addressed her as "sweetheart" and expressed a desire to be reunited with his family. Farmers and Dealers v Go to Traclor School To familiarize farmers and dealers with the mysteries of the farm trac tor was the purpose of a tractor school of instruction held at the Omaha offices of the Emerson Brantingham Implement company two days this week. Farmers ind dealers must now be educated to the point of becoming their own experts in the handling of the tractor. This is because the war industries have commandeered so many of the ex pert mechanics employed formerly by the tractor manufacturers tovtour the country and help farmers out of tractor difficulties. More than 100 farmers and dealers were in Omaha during the two days to hear the lec tures. The tractor school held here was one of 28 such schools the Emer-son-Brantinghatn company is hold ing throughout the country on this subject. S 3 1621 FARNAM ST.
