OUT IN OMAHA CHURCHES
TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS
Birth of Christ Commemorated in Serjnon and Music

! Christmas, one of the two great festivals .of the Christian
church, will be the theme in the Omaha churches today. The
I birth of Christ wiltbe commemorated in sermons and music and
I scriptural readings Sunrise services will be a feature in a
I number of churches.
1 Most of the church choirs have
I prepared elaborate programs of music
for the occasion. In a number of
tchurches the night, service will be en-
tirely in charge of the choirs. Christ
f mas anthems and carols will be sung.
Sunday will be a preliminary to the
Christmas, festivities of the week by
I the Sunday schools. Most of the Sun-
day school exercises for the children
will be held either Christmas eve or
f Christmas night in the churches.

signed statement today, not only ac
knowledges legal responsibility of the
company for compensation for deaths
and injuries in Thursday night's
wreck at Shepherdsville, but sug
gested that -claims be submitted to a
committee and litigation avoided.
