At the Sunday morning services at the North Presbyterian church the adult Bible class will present a ser vice flag, on which will be as many stars as there are young men of the church now in the army. The flag will carry 34 stars. The presentation speech in turning the service flag over to the church will be by D. W. Merrow,' teacher of the Bible class. The response is' to be by Rev. J. M. Wilson, who .will occupy the pulpit of the church for the first time Sunday morning as the, regular pastor. Following, the pre sentation and the speech of accep tance, there will be prayers for the young men who have been called, to the colors, these to be followed by the singing of patriotic songs. Rev. J. M. Wilson, recently elected pastor of the North Presbyterian church, has arrived in the city and Sunday morning and evening will occupy the pulpit. Plans are being arranged for a reception to be held for the new pastor and his wife, but the date has not been determined. Rev. G. A. Hulbert of the Central Congregational church will address the members of the House of Hope Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Mr. Haberstro and his choir will conduct an hour's musical. Rev. R. B. A. McBride, former pastor of the Central United Presby terian chufch, Twenty-fourth and Dodge streets, is in New York, it is rumored, on his way to enter the Young Men's Christian association war work in France. Rev. Mr. Mc Bride has been pastor of the First Presbyterian church, Cedar Rapids, la. Rev. Frederick W. Simpson will preach at th . First Methodist church Sunday. His morning subject will be "Preparation for the Final Conflict," and his evening theme, "What If There Was No God." The Sunday evening sermons at the Castelar Presbyterian church during December are planned to aid individual evangelism, leading lo a Decision day, December 30. Rev. Charles F. Holler, pastor of Trinity Baptist church, will preach Sunday evening at Immanuel Baptist church, Twenty-fourth and Pinkney, arid at the close of the service will baptize a number of candidates, who desire to unite with Trinity church. The rector of All Saints church has returned from a visit to the Atlantic coast and will preach Sunday at 11. A large service flag will be unfurled at this service and a new and en larged honor roll placed in the lobby of the church. The first services in the Interde nominational People's Mission church will be held at the new location, Twenty-sixth and Franklin streets, Sunday, December 16, according to Rev. A. Wagner, pastor. The first payment of $400 has been met by pop ular subscription. The building, which was formerly an Episcopal church, is to cost $1,500. The People's Mission church was formerly located in the old Third ward, but because of the number of parishioners who have moved away it was deemed necessary to seek a new location. Baptist.
