shopping during the forepart of the week and during
the forenoons of the day. .

senger and transportation utility. The passenger who
observes this request will travel in greater comfort, be-
cause it is a well known fact that travel on the cars in
the forenoons and during the forepart of the week is
lighter than it is in the afternoons and during the latter
part of the week. The transportation utility benefits,
too. A more even distribution (as to time) of travel
means a saving of fuel, which is a very important con
sideration at this time of fuel shortage; and it reduces
the chance of accident to passengers. When travel is
heavy the danger of accident is greatest. We are con
stantly striving to prevent accidents, and to. this end
we earnestly ask for your co-operation.
