apple-green costume attracted un
usual attention. Evidently the ladies
who attended the twenty-third Ak
Sar-Ben ball are not suffering from
shortage at leather for at none of the
twenty-two preceding balls has there
been such an array of brilliantly and
delicately dressed dancing feet '
