Cash whi-at scored a slight advance today,
selling at unchanged prices on th poorer
grades to 3c hlsthcr on the hotter grades
of hard winter. Uecetpts of this cereal were
very light with only eight csrs and up to
noon four were reported nolJ. There was
a good d.rnmul tor the milling grades, but
lhe samples were very scarce.
' The cash corn market was very strong
with a good demand for this cereal, partic
ular preference being shown for ths yellow.
Price were much higher, being quoted from
5c to 6 Ho higher than those of yesiorday.
Traders took the samples vory slowly, but
near the close of the session few of these
were left. The No. 2 yellow which sold
yesterday at $1,744 snd $1.75, sold on the
floor today at $1.80 to $l.lil. these figures
