making of hospital supplies, which
shall be kept open every day. There is

ed temporary chairman and Mrs. R. C
Vermillion, secretary. Mrs. P. J. Far-

Negro Tott Gun.
At the south side police court ses
sion this morning, Isaac Jackson, col
ored, while he did not draw a draft
number, drew thirty days in jail. Jack
son lives at 4427 South Twenty-sixth
street and when picked up the police, .
was toting a gun and a lot of cart
ridges. He was charged with carry
ing concealed weapons.
Recently another negro was in po
lice court on the charge of carrying
a gun and was given ten days.

The Fourth Telegraph battalion.

Gordon Kelly, Stockman
Of South Side, Dead
Gordon Kelly, aced 33. a orominent
South Side stockman, died yesterday
at the St. Catherine hospital of pto
maine poisoning.
Mr. Kelly had been a resident of
Omaha for eight years. He is survived
by a wife and two children. The body
will be taken from the Hartman un
dertaking parlors to Kansas City to
day for burial. . , - .
