Th wheat market was very strong today,
with extremely light arrivals, but th de
mand wa vary Indifferent and only a few
scattered sale vt hard winter were re
ported. '
The corn market was also strong, with
prices quoted from a half to 4to higher,
but the demand for this cereal was excel,
lent, and although arrivals wer moder
ately heavy th trader got together very
readily and almost all of the sample were
picked up befor noon.

particularly noticeable in whit com, this
variety being quoted at a wide premium over
the yellow and mlxstl and selling at new
record price.
