Difference in Swimming Outdoors and in Tanks "There is a difference1 between swimming outdoors, as nature intend ed, and swimming about a tank in side," said Professor Glen Williams, physical and swimming instructor at Bellevue college. "Outdoors it seems to come natural. Some people won der at the enthusiasm of others when 'goin' swimmin' ' is mentioned. It is a natural feeling to love to swim, to splash about in the water, ana with the right supervision when one is learning, it is one ot the most neaitn ful rturtners one can take." Professor Williams heads the life guard at Manawa park this season, where nearly 1,000 people went "in swimmin'" last Sunday. Crowds visit the beach daily. Mr. Williams started zivin lessons to those who want to learn to swim. His years as an instructor aids him in the worK. He has a corps of expert assistants. Watch for it.
