THE HISTORY OF MINNE LUSA:
July 22, 1915, we filed the plat of Minne Lusa Additjion
and in less than 2 years we have changed that tract from a
cornfield to a beautiful residence district.
We have moved 250,000 yards of earth in order that
each lot would have a PERFECT grade. The City Engineer
established grades for each street and we brought the six
miles of streets to grade, each lot was surveyed and staked.
We put in the streets six miles of large water mains and
the .Omaha Gas Company put in six miles of Gas Mains;
We put in twelve miles of cement walks, six miles of con
duits for lighting system and six miles of sewer pipe that runs
from twelve to thirty inches in diameter, and we will shortly
place four ornamental Lightinr Posts in each Block.
HUGH MURPHY, with the most modern equipment
that can be obtained, has paved EVERY street in the entire
addition with asphaltic concrate.
We put building restrictions on all lots and 130 beauti
ful homes have been built.
THE RESULT:
of our effort to make this the LARGEST and FINEST Addition in Omaha has been the,
largest and quickest 'sale in the city's history, nearly seven hundred lots have been sold to
more than four; hundred buyers, who looked at all additions arid listened to "Selling argu
ments" before buying in MINNE LUSA.
