The annual meeting of the Baptist
church was held last Wednesday at
the Odd Fellows hall. It was opened
with a 7 o'clock dinner, followed by a
few short talks by the pastor, Rev,
Thomas Anderson, and several lay
men. Miss Helen McGuire gave a
reading and Mr. Oliver sang a solo.
Mr. McCloud of Omaha was the
sneaker of the evening and gave a
very interesting and entertaining talk
on the history of the Baptist church.
