Why Suffer From It?
Suffarers Should R.alit. That It Is
a Blood Infection and Can Be Per
man.ntly R.li.vad.
Rheumatism means that the blood
has become saturated with uric acid
poison.
Jt does not require medical advice
to know that good health is absolute
ly dependent upon pure blood. When
the muscles and joints become sore
and drawn with rheumatism, it is not
a wise thing to take a little salve and
by rubbing it on the sore spot, ex
pect to get rid ot your rheumatics.
You must go deeper than that, down
deep into the blood where the poison
lurks and which is not affected by
salves and ointments. It is imDortant
that you rid yourself of this terrible
disease before it goes too far. S. S. S.
is the blood purifier that has stood
the test of time, having been in con
stant use for more than fifty yeari.
It will do for you what it has done
for thousands of othersi drive the
rheumatic poisons out of your blood,
making it pure and stronsr and ena
bling it to make you well. S. S. S.
is guaranteed purely vegetable, it will
do the work and not harm the most
delicate stomach.

Hastings Track
Tourney Advanced
To Fifth of May
Hastings, Neb., April 23. (Spe
cial.) Owing to a conflict in dates
with another athletic event the inter
scholastic track tournament to be held
under the auspices of Hastings col
lege at Hanson field has been changed
from May 11 to May 5. The time
limit for registration of entries has
likewise been changed to April 28.
It is expected that between fifteen
and twenty high schools in central
and western Nebraska will be repre
sented, assurances of entries having
already been received from high
schools at McCook, Gothenburg,
Loup City, Sutton, Harvard, Hastings.
Clay Center, Grand Island, Central
City and Fairbury.
As the tournament is to be an in
vitation affair, the students of the
academy at Hastings college will not
participate. In addition to gold, sil
ver and bronze medals for the win
ners of first, second and third place
in each event there will be trophy
cups for the winning team and the
contestant scoring the greatest num
ber of points.
The Hastings college team is rap
idly rounding into shape under the
direction of Coach Gordon Beck and
is expected to give a good account
of itself in intercollegiate circles.
Only three veterans' Gait, Logan
and Cook have returned, and the
college will sorely miss Clarence
Sherrich, who was choseg for captain
this year, but the new material is
showing up well. The team will com
pete in a triangular meet with Doane
and Wesleyan at Crete on May 3 or
11, in the state intercollegiate contest
at Wesleyan on May 18, and with
Doane and Central- City here on
May 28.
