S.- Knapp, prciident of the Omaha Box company, was greatly impressed with Omaha anil its pros perity when he returned from New Orleans, where he has been for a week inspecting lumber mills. "I noticed," he said, "that the two big daily papers in New Orleans carried two or more columns of 'Situations Wanted' all the lime, while here oilr papers carry two or more columns of 'Help Wanted' all the time. There is just the difference between the ac tivity of the two cities." Live Stock Prices Drop When Cattlemen Unload A tendency to unload with accom panying depression in prices of all classes of stock on foot was noted at the Omaha live stock market this morning. Approximately 35,000 head of stock was received and prices in hogs and .sheep divisions shot down steadily from 10 to 15 cents. At noon sheep had barely begun to sell, but predic tions were that there would be a consistent lowering here. also. Wireless Messages to , : Ships at Sea Cut Off Boston, Mass., April 17.
