Owing to the eitreme unevenness the last
couple of days and the fact that packers
have been buying almoet none of the real
heavy iambs, comparing prices today was
no easy Job. Ily noon the bulk of the
handy weight lambs had 'changed hands at
prices that were around l&c lower than
yesterday's general market, though, com
pared with tbi) beet time on yesterday's
opening, valued were as much aa a quarter
lower in spots. A good many of the me
dium weight westerns sold around 114.000
14.10 and some light Mexicans 'reached
114.26614.36. outsiders took a few of the
heavy lambs for shearing purposes, paying
