Hundreds of Trains Were Tied Up by Snow Blockade The Union Pacific general offices have made some calculations as to what the Wyoming snow blockade that held from Jan nary 27 until Feb ruary 4 meant in the matter of de laying traffic. During the period a to tal of 120 passenger trains were tied np and unable to move a wheel over a distance of 100 miles. During the period of the blockade no attempt was made to move freight through the snow-bound rone.
