Yesterday's market was more active around midday than at any other time, but before a clearance was made buyers quit. and thirty-five or forly cars had to be car ried over for today. The car shortage was relieved lo a small extent, shippers loading out all of their email buy, and Morris ft Co. getting cars for most of the hogs they bought yesterday, as well as those they had from the day before. other markets reported generally strong er prices and sellers who considered yester day's decline lo a large extent unwar ranted were out for higher prices today. Shippers were inclined to go a little slow, though they bought some hogs on early rounds that were aa much as 10c higher. Packers came out with offers that were strong to 6c higher, but sellnrs were pricing their hogs at greater upturns than that and little sold until well along In the morning.
