' ' Visiting dealers may be surprised lo find the John, Deere Plow com pany, corner building at Tenth and Howard streets, occupied by the Mc Caffrey Jiotor company, agents for the Ford car. This does not mean that the John Deere Plow company have moved to other quarters, but merely that they have letsed this corner building, for which they no longer had any direct use, having dis continued the sale of Velie automo biles about a year ago. The office of the John Deere Plow company is on thtj second floor and reached by an entrance in the middle of the block, between Ninth and Tenth on Howard street. I Visitors will be particularly wel come, and special arrangements have heeu made to take care of them in first-class shape. Luncheon will be served at noon on Wednesday. Thursday anil Friday, according lo the custom in the past, and all visitors arc cordially welcome. The John Deere Plow company dis play room on the eighth floor of the building is the finest and largest room devoted to the display of agricultural implements, wagons and vehicles in the world, and it is worth the time of any implement dealer or farmer to pay a special visit to this room and sec the modern, up-to-date tools of all sorts shown here. Wherever possi ble, tools are shown-iij operation, giv ing the visitor an opportunity to see what they will do underworking con ditions. U th Cardinal Virtue In The Mid-West Implement Dealers' annual convention is an event that will take place next week in Omaha. This convention has been growing in importance from year to year. Sit uated, as it is, here in the very heart of the country's greatest agricul tural district, it arouses the interest of many thousands. ' It will be held December 13, 14 and 15 in the Auditorium, which will ,be filled with exhibits of all kinds of farm machinery and equipment, in cluding the very latest improvements and inventions for tilling the soil, for harvesting the crops, for raising stock and caring for it, and, in fact, for all departments of agricultural work. ' 4 The big firms in this line of manu facture are to bey represented with large exhibits. Sessions of the con vention will be held at the Rome ho tel; beginning Wednesday at 2 p. m. with the address of President C. E. Gallagher and the reports of Secre tary James Wallace and Treasurer J. M. Elwell. - TJiursday will be "Farmers' 'day," and at the morning session there will be a number of addresses, while in the afternoon there will be a theater party for the ladies, and the men will inspect the exhibits.
