October 11. lll. The demand for rash wheat wsa very Tood today, but led by the bearish tendency of the future market the cash article ruled from steady to 14c lower. The general run of No. 2 hard wheat sold today at $l.t. about Is under the average price yesterday. No, 1 hard sold around $1.44 01.44 aad the No. 4 ranged la price from (l.WQl.Hi. The sample grade brought from tl.U tf 1.S0. the bulk selling at 11. 6T. , The milling demand for durum wheat was good, but there were only a few ears of this grata on the tables, and prtees were about lo higher. The corn market was very strong and the market showed good gains on aH grade of this cerval. TeUow earn sold at a premium, the Nov 1 grade selling- up to lie, while the commer cial grades of white and mixed coro were quoted at 8911 90c. Receipts, however, were very tight and were hardly enough to supply the stroag demand. Oats wore rather quiet and the market sold from i. t Vfac lower. Th essh demand for this cereal was gpnd but the dullness was caused by the light reoelpu. Rye ruled from steady to 1c lower and there was an excellent demand ter this ee real at lower prices. Ths barley market wss rather quiet and was quoted from unchanged to le lower, Clnarancts were; Wheat and flour eeaal to 104. 009 bushels; corn, 1,000 bushels; oats, 711.900 buehele.
