'Mother' Adams Asks
For Invalid Chair
An invalid chair for a mother of five
children, helpless from rheumatism, is
what "Mother" W. R. Adams would
like some one to donate. Or if no one
has an invalid fhair for which they
have no further use "Mother" Adams
hopes some one or some group""of per
sons will give the $25 necessary to
purchase the chair. '
"It is a most deserving case," says
Mrs. Adams, who is "mother" of the
Visiting Nurse association. "If the
woman had a chair which she could
use to get from room to room, she
could direct the children to do the
housework." Of the five children, the
oldest is only 14.
Drive Across the
State in the Snow
Nebraska' snowstorms hold forth
no horrors to Wyoming autoists.
This was demonstrated when Mr.
and Mrs. Barney Evans and Mrs.D.
H. Hilman and daughter of Sheridan,
motored 315 miles through one of
the most severe October blizzards in
the history of the state. The party
arrrvcd in Omaha Thursday night and
will continue their trip tomorrow.
They are enroute to New York, from
where they will drive to Eagle Point,
Fla., to spend the winter.
Mrs. Hilman conducts what is
known in Wyoming as a "dude
ranch." These ranches afe resorts
where easterners "dudes" may
spend thcjr vacations.
