Mrs. Frank Parmalee, who was in jured in an automobile accident last week, is much improved. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Everett of Council Bluffs, who were called home by the death of Mrs. Horace Everett, returned Thursday to their ranch in Bear Creek Canyon, Colo. Mrs. T. F. Kennedy, accompanied by her sister, Mrs. Kalk of Washing ton, arrived home Friday from the east, where they were with their mother, Mrs. Stanton, during her last illness. Pauline Hamilton, the little daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hamilton, who has been critically ill, is on the road to recovery, although improve ment is slow and it will be some time before she is quite well again. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Love, although having leased their farm on the West Leavenworth road, will retain their house, just completed last spring, and will continue to occupy1 it except for a month or two in the winter. Miss Nata Prescott, accompanied by her niece, Miss Janet Reeves, went to St. Joseph Saturday to spend several weeks with Miss Prescott's grandmother, who is ill. ' Miss Pres cott's mother has been there for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Reeves will join them soon for a short visit. Miss Prescott will return in the fall to make her home, in Omaha.
