opened with a single, Forsythe was

tional Guard, mobilized for the Mex
- ican compaign, will be in Cheyenne
during the big wild west show, and
the citizens' committee, which is ar
ranging for Frontier Days, is planning'
accordingly. - If they still are here
Frontier Days will be made the ve
hicle of a- splendid tribute to the
Wyoming volunteers. They will be
honored in numerous ways and 60.000
people from Wyoming and - other
states will see them pass in review.

Ritchie, former liehtweiKht cham
pion, announced his intention today
of learning the rudiments of another
profession of fighting and will go into
training next Monday as a soldier at
the Monterey, Cal, military camp for
civilians. Ritchie signed the enlist
ment roll! as a recruit for four weeks'
tuition under United States army offi
cers. The former champion wrote hit

ed materially in North Platte's drop

Cleaners and Dyers. The visitors took
the long end of a 2 to 0 score, both
runs coming in on North Platte er

nifty pitchers' battle, Myers allowing
three hits and whiffing seven men.

of Indianapolis knocked out Jim
Flynn, Pueblo fireman, in the fourth
round of their icheduied fifteen-round
bout here today.
A left hook to the jaw followed by
a hard right cross sent Dillon's op
ponent to the floor for the final count.
The first two rounds were even, while
Flynn led in the third. In the fourth
the fireman went to the canvas twice
for a count of eight before Dillon
sent home the blows that won the
fight.
