The National Whist congress opened Friday at Spring Lake, N. Y. Among the players are Mrs. I. M. Orr and Mrs. E. W. Gunther, two of Omaha's best whist players. Baldwin, both of whom are already east, may have gone to Spring Lake for the congress also. Mr, Wilbur Jones and Miss Grace Northrup were united in marriage Saturday at 4 p. ra. by Rev. Arthur J. Morris of the Emanuel Baptist church at the borne of the bride's par ents, Mr. and Mr. A. D.
