Telegram.) With 150 hones head
quartered at. the local track and the
town rapidly filling up with racing
fans, the meeting of the Nebraska
Midway Racing circuit, which openi
tomorrow, bids fair to break all rec
ord for an Auburn iporting event
.The racei were postponed yeiter
day and today on account of the in
clement weather and the heavy track.
The excellent half-mile oyjl, how
ever, will be in good condition by to
morrow, providing it docs not train
again.
The ODenins dav'i card consist of
the following racei: 2:11 pace, 2:13
trot, 3-year-old trot and the 2:27 trot.
On Friday there will be raced the
2:27 trot, 2:14 trot, 2:15 pace and the
3-year-old trot.
' The closing day's program includes
the 2:25 pace, 2:22 trot, 2:20 pace and
the free-for-all pace, the feature event
of the three dayi' meeting, which will
be foupht out by great Hat McKinney
and hi worthy opponent, Columbia

ing pony, owned by Miss Frances
Dennison of Omaha, will be turned
in exhibition mile each day of the

Hal McKinney and Columbia Fire will
be two of the attraction! at the racing
meet which takei place in Aurora
June 27, 28 and 29. These two fa
mous trotters have been matched for
a race, and a they are the fastest in
the itate it will be watched with great
interest by the racing fraternity. .
Many 'Other fast horsei have been
entered for the races, which will occur
on each afternoon of the dates set for
the meet. The orocram will bet-in
promptly at 1 :30 each afternoon. - ,
. Secretary Charles W. Wenti of the
speed association has word from
Omaha racing men that at least 150
will be present the last day of the
meet Many of them will have horsei
