Solomon announce the engagement of their daughter, Margaret Elizabeth, to Mr. John Herbert McMillan. The wed ding will be a quiet home service Wednesday evening, June 21. Cards were received in Omaha last week from Mr. and Mrs. William J. Martin of South San Francisco, Cal., announcing the betrothal of their daughter, Grace Marguerite, to Alex ander Budge Groie. Mr. and Mrs. Martin are former residents of Oma ha, who left here some years ago. , Mr. Martin is a brother of C. W. and F. T. B. Martin and was a law part ner of John L. Kennedy before he , went Jo California. Mr, and Mrs. J. R. Beerup of Lin coln, announce the engagement of their daughter, Edna Laveme, to Harry Griffith Entricken of Holsteln, vIe., formerly of Omaha. Mr. En tricken is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George M. Entricken of Omaha. Miss Beerup, has during the last two years, resided with her aunt, Mrs. Edward Cole of this city. The wed ding will take place at some time dur ing the summer, and the pair will live in Holstein. Mrs. Cole will entertain thirty guests in honor of Miss Beerup on Monday. At the Field Club. Plans have already been made at the Field club for the annual Fourth of July jollification. . A special din ner dance will be given on the even ing of Independence day, featuring a holiday table d'hote dinner, extra music and inter-course dancing if de sired. The ceremony, which was per formed by Rev. John Calvert of the Methodist Episcopal church in the presence ot a tew intimate relatives, was simple, but very impressive. The ring ceremony was used. Nixon-Relmer Wedding. Miss Martha Reimer and Mr. Rob' ert E. Nixon were married Wednes day evening at 8 o clock at the borne of Mr. and Mra. R. H. Dennis. Rev. O. D. Baltzley of Kountze Memorial church officiating. The bride's gown was of white satin and she wore a long veil and carried bride's roses. ' ' One of the most elaborate Swedish weddings held in this city for some time was that of Miss Selma Emma Walstrom and Mr. Henning Albert Lantr of Red Oak, la., which took place at the bride's home Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock. The Rev. Dr. O. D. Baltzly of Kountze Memorial Lutheran church performed the cere mony, assisted by Rev. C. Franklin Koch. To the strains of the Mendelssohn wedding march, played by Miss Amy Palmquist, the wedding procession entered, led by Miss Victoria Ander son of Stanton, la., and Miss Char lotte Pipkin as ribbon stretcher, fol lowed by Miss Eva Anderson, cousm of the bride, as ring bearer. Miss Ellen Walstrom, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. Mr. Hugo Lantz. brother of the groom, was the best man. The father of the bride gave her away in marriage.
