AVOCATION CLUB SPEEDS DEPARTING ORGANIZER About twenty-five members of the Avocation club, which is another name for the Loyal Order of Moose, met Tuesday noon at the Loyal hotel to pay special homage to Colonel George Griffith, who has been in Omaha as organizer for several months. Now that the organization is surety on its feet and the colonel is letting the members take up their work without hia leadership, the time was deemed appropriate for honoring him. ' E. L. Bradley presided, and every membeT of the club present expressed his appreciation of the colonel and of what he had done for the order. - James Corr alluded to the fact that the colonel has done fairly well In the way of children himself, having thir teen living sons and daughters. . After all had finished speaking the president, on behalf of the members, presented to the colonel a handsome stickpin. Colonel Griffith responded fittingly, told how as national organ izer he had seen the membership grow from 5,000 to 585,000, and urged the members to continue the good work he has begun. The members voted that any mem ber who is absent from meetings three times in succession shall . lapse in membership. - ' It takea but a minute of time to save dollars when you read The Bee Want Ad columns.
