Bearish Slant to Omaha Wheat Mart Following Thursday's decline in Chicago, wheat on the Omaha mar ket experienced a big slump today, selling off i to 5 cents a bushel, the sales being made all the way from ')4 cent to $1 .07. Receipts were 103 carloads. lorn was off one-half of a cent' selling at 68fa71c per bushel. There were but fourteen carloads on the market, the receipts being the light est for over a mouth. Pastors Are Asked To Preach on Need - Of War Sufferers Letters have been received by pas tors of churches in Omaha from the Federated Council of Churches of Christ in America asking that on Memorial Mmday, May -'8, they preach on the need of the war suf ferers in Liirope and take an offer ing for their relief A pamphlet reciting the needs of the ' people of Belgium, northern France. Poland, Serbia, t-i Prussia, Armenia and other parts of F.uropc has been received. The federated council is made up of representatives from a large num ber n' denominations. OMAHA Y. M. C. A. DELEGATES RETURN FROM MEETING The majority of he Omaha dele gates to the Young Men's Christian association international convention, which was held at Cleveland, have re turned, pronouncing it the most suc cessful meeting in the history of the association. Among thoscwho represented the local association, at the Cleveland convention were: R. S. Flower, boys' secretary; Walter Mayer, business secretary; Charles A. Mussclman, state secretary; Walter A. Kearns, physical director; G. C. Ivlgerly, member of the state committee. Mr. Kearns is the only delegate who has not returned. He is at tending a conference of phyical di rectors at Leroy, O.
