for sandlot entertainment.
When t'-ie board of directors of the

of questions relative to the eligibility of
certain playera wpre produced. Ray llob

was Indefinitely auapended because he

will have to b Content on the waiting

leave the matter up to Ocorgo Clark,
chief supervisor. The protest by the Gate
City Machine Works ngnlnat the pahl

the three reamns on which the former
laid Ita foundation for aald protest wera
queatlona of whether or not tha umpire
erred In Judgment. Because the manager
of the Western I'nlon Electrical club
did not piny the game with the A. O. U.

because tho game was called at 3:25 p.
m. Protest was not allowed.
Several other protests will be settled
when the directors convene at the coun

Wednesday.
Brown Park Quit.
The Brown Talk Merchants' team, a
member of the City league since Its In
ception, brought gloom In large gobs
to the Omaha Amateur association when
Ihe news leaked out that It would
abandon the field. Thla team haa been
a ringleader In local base ball circles.
It haa always fought hard for every
Inch and thla team will be remembered
by the local exponents of tho gamo for
many a moon. Heveral playera algned
up by Manager Parrett refused to don
the spangles and he found It would he
a difficult matter to fill up the gapa
left open by their departure, so he
tossed up the reins.
