CAN I
OWN A
HOME?
A NYMANwho
can pay rent
can own a home.
Why? Because it
is the rent that
buys the home.
Landlords make
their houses buy
themselves.
Paying for a
house on the in
stalment plan is
a practical and
popular way of
buying a. home.
Ninety per cent
of all the house
sales made in
Omaha are made
on the instalment
plan. And 90 per
cent of these are
made to people
earning less than
$150 a month.
Earning a, house
while living in it
is the most popu
lar way.ot get
ting a home.
How much of a
house can you
afford to buy?
Wise men say:
"Never buy a
home that costs
more than two
years' salary."
How does this fit
your idea of a
home?
If one's income
is $1,000 a year,
he may figure on
buying a $2,000
home, and pay
ing f$2f0 a year
on it and so on
according to the
