yesterday and sentenced by Judge
Maurice T. Doollng.
Following her conviction th district
attorney' office announced a policy of
prosecuting all perjurer without regard
to sex- Deputy United States District At
torney M. A, Thomas said:
So 'many women come before th
grand Jury and th United State com
missioner and swear falsely that the
Jnlted State attorney's office ha decided
to prosecute all who commit perjury. I
feel that a certain class of women who
are Identified with white slave case
have combined to defeat Justice and
have planned to swear falsely when It
becomes necessary. This Is but the first
ease, but it ha been decided to bring all
offenders hi this regard to Justice.
