At Fremont Friday John Kerns one of
the three men arieeted on the charge of
stealing from I'nlon Pacific freight cars,
pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six
months In the Dodge county Jell. The
two men who were partners of Kerna In
the thefts were ccnvlcted last week and
each sentenced to a yesr In the peniten
tiary. Kerns Is a wealthy farmer living a
short distance out from North Bnd. Hla
father la a retlrM farmer and Is rich.
