Turkeya will be quoted around tS centi a pound. Geese will sell at about 17V4 cents. Ducks have good prospect of selling at 20 cents a pound. Chickens are still 15 cents a pound. Cranberries are 8 1-3 cents a pound, and oysters, nice for dressing, are worth 30 centa a quart. Tot roests can be bad at 12H cents also. Totatoes are up and are soil Ins; at 20 centa a peck, or 80 centa a bushel. Flour has taken a considerable advance In the wholesale market and millers are quot ing prices only for a day or twentv-four hours at a time, sa they loon for fur ther admnces. . Cssawba melons sre on the market at 33 cents each. Nate Coat More. Fresh this year's' nuts for Chrlstmss are somewhat higher than usual. Most classes of nuts are quoted at centa a pound, with the exception of hickory nuts, quoted at t cents, and black wal nuts, at SH cents. Ready mixed nuts, consisting of hazelnuts, English walnuts, hlckorynuts, pecans, Brasll nuts and almonds are selling at 17V4 centa a pound. Butter has gone to 12 cents a pound. As a consequence a demand has been cre ated for but.terine. On account of the exceptionally fine weather running so late this fall, hens have begun to lay, and fresh eggs are finding their way td market. This threat ens to cut down the demand for storage egirs. Storage eggs are selling at 2o cents, while fresh eggs are going at Zt cents. Two Big Elevators Filled With Wheat . Burned at Erie, Pa. Two of the three Anchor Una grain elevators owned by the Pennsylvania Railroad company here were destroyed by fire early today, with their contents, about POO.000 bushels of wheat The loss Is estimated at 7500O.
