There was considerable Improvement
In wheat receipts, but there was only a
moderate cash demand for this cereal.
Old corn sold at practically unchanged
prices, but several cars of new corn sol.l
at a decline of about 2c. The demand
for com was fair and the receipts of this
cereal were pretty good.
The oals market was a trifle weak,
selling from unchanged to Ho lower, al
though the rash demand waa fairly ao
tlve. The cash demand for rye was active,
but the market wis weak, selling from
c to lc lower. Barlev receipts were un
important and the market remained prac
tically unchanged.
Clearances were: Wheat and flour equal
to 1,450,000 bu.; corn, Sl.OuO bu.; oat, 770.000
bu.
Liverpool rinsed with wheat 4d lower
to Id higher: corn, unchanged to Id
higher.
Primary wheat receipt were S.306,on
and shipments 3.1W.000 bu.. asalnst re
