Cupid has been busy this summer
in the Cudahy household, as just two
weeks ago Miss Florence Cudahy'a
engagement to Mr. Spalding of Chi
cago was announced. Both announce
ment have come from Mackinac, the
cummer home of the Cudahy.
The Cudahy family left Omaha a
few years ago to reside In Chicago,
and while here Miss Helen was a
great farorlte socially. She has been
greatly admired here and elsewhere
for her striking blonde type of
beanty. She has often visited here
as the guest of Miss Frances Nash.
Since living In Chicago Miss Cudahy
baa been very active In charity club
work, and last year was honored by
being elected president of the Junior
league, one of the best known aocial
clubs of the city. The date for the
wedding la not yet announced.
