The marrlago of Miss Anna Lynch and
Mr. Henry Joseph MoCarty was cele
brated Saturday morning at 7 o'clock at
Pt. Cecelia's pro-eathedraj. Rev. Father
(laltley performed the ceremony In the
presence of the Immediate family and a
few friends. Miss Winifred Traynor
played the Lohrngrjn wedding march and
during the service Mrs. James Hanley
sang "Ave Maria" snd Miss Beatrice
Coffey snug "O. Lord, Ho Merciful."
The bride wore her go-away gown of
citron colored cloth with hat to match.
She carried an arm bouquet of bride's
roses and liliee of the valley. Miss Mary
Lynch, sister of the bride, was the brides
maid. She wore a tan colored suit with
a black velvet toque and carried Mrs.
Ward roses.
The groom was attended by Mr. M.
llanna as beat man. The ceremony was
followed by a breakfast for twenty
guests and later a reception was held.
Mr. McCarty was connected formerly
with the Brandeis Stores here and la now
manager and buyer of the ready-to-wear
department of Wilkin Bros., De Moines.
After an extended trip east, which will
Include New York City. Atlantic City
and Detroit, Mr. and Mrs. McCarty will
reside In Des Moines. The bride is the
dsughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Lynch,
formerly of Lynch, Neb., and prominent
residents of the state.
Chenoweth-Tonge Wedding.
The wedding of Miss Nellie Tonge,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Tonge,
and Mr. Roscoe H. Chenoweth took place
at the Diets Memorial church Wednes
day evening. The Rev. Charles N. Daw
son performed the ceremony.
The bride wore a gown of white
crepe de chine trimmed with lace and
pearls. She carried an arm bouquet of
KUlarney roses. Miss Marguerite Tonge.
