from Omaha today. 6 to 6. the Rourkea
making a game riuht after the Tlgera
had pulled up a three-run lead In the
first Mven Innings.
K rug's clan hopped onto Barney
Srhreiber In the seventh and tied It up
and started the bombardment In the
eighth, but Mclntyra called In Dawson,
who pitched shutout ball against Omaha
yesterday, and he held them safe.
North and Everdon were unequal to the
task of holding Lincoln. The Tigers
scored first In the third, with two down,
when Schreiber drove a clean single over
frond, stole second and rode home when
Wolfe banged the left field fence with a
double. Wolfe tallied on McOafflgana
single.
The Rourkes got one In the fourth on
Breert's double, Brcen's steal of third
and Krug's Infield out.
The Tigers annexed another In tho
fourth on Mclntyre's two errors and
Daley's Infield hit.
Smith lilts Home Raw.
In the seventh Schllebner doubled to
center, but was caught between second
and third, when Blanck hit to Barney
aVhivibei. who threw to Lloyd. Blanck
reached serond on the play and then
Wells, batting for North, beat out an
Infield hit. Smith picked out one and
drove It over the cenlerfield fence, scor
ing Blanck and Wells ahead of him.
Lincoln Jumped back In the lead on
"Wolfe's single, McGaffigan's sacrifice
and Schrelber's single.
Krug started the eighth with a slash
ing single to left. Varney's double
brought him home and then Mclntyre
tailed in Dawson. Morse hit the first
ball pitched over the ccnterfleld fence in
Lincoln's half and gave Lincoln the win
ning run.

morrow, with the first game called at
