I'nwa and halfara moved freely at Prices
that were fully steady with yesterday.
Pull were also In good demand, and the
name was true of veal calvea. there being
ilttle or no change from yesterday.
There were not enough feeders In the
Varus to teel out the market, but the feel
ing was firm. There was quite sprink
ling of trnrhy Block cattle, but they are
more or leas neglected and alow sellers

residents, wss killed when a paasenger
steamer rammed a yacht belonging to
C. K. Q. Billings off the cbast of lng
Island, according to Information that
reached th Fremont men. Mr. Kendrlck
waa at dinner on the passenger best
when the accident happened. One other
paasenger was killed.

Abe Maglle, nephew of Flicker, wag
awakened by a flash of light from an
electric torch, and sitting up In bed he
held the thief In his room. Abe let out
a whoop and bounded to the floor, while
the burglar, finding the way to the win
dow through which he had entered
tarred, dashed through the house to the
front door. He never even stopped to
unlatch the screen, but walked rlgM on
through It and mad his escape In the
darkness. All three houses were entered
through side windows.
