Recommendations for ,the establishment
of a Royal Arcanum home In Omaha were
adopted at the closing session ot thB Ne
hrsska grand council of the Royal Ar
canum, held yesterday at Hotel Conte
nt II.- The proposed lodge horn will be
Intended as a place for meetings and
recreation for members of the order, to
be built snd owned by the Jurisdiction of
Nebraska.
The Idea waa brought out In the an
nual report and recommendations ef the
retiring grand regent. Carl H. Geror of
Lincoln, snd wss adopted at once, with a
temmittee authorised to meet at Omaha
within two months to formulate details
cf the plan. The committee will consult
of the regents of all subordinate councils
in the state and all the officers of the
grand council.
It was also decided by the grsnd coun
cil to start a campaign for the purpose
of trying to land the 1916 supreme or ns
tl nal council for Omaha. Grand Regent
Gerber, who becomes sitting past regent
by custom, wss also chosen to be supreme
representative of Nebraska at the na
tional council, which meets next month
