WASHINOTON. April 3.-Two hundred
bluejackets from the American fleet,
marooned ashore at Vera Crui for two
days and unable to get back to their
ships on account ot rouuh wenthcr. have
been accorded every courtesy by the
Carrsma authorities. The etate deport
ment announced today that advices from
Vera Crus said Rear Admiral Caperton
several days ago asked and was granted
permission to land 200 men daily for lib
erty. On the nlKht of April 1. on account
of rough weather, the men could not re
turn and through the courtewy of Ra
fael Zuberman, minister of the Interior,
were given quarters In the customs
house. Rough weather continued and
the men received the same courtesies
when obliged to remain ashore again on
the, night of April 2. ,
Other advices to the department were
summarized as follow:
"The department Is Informed that Gen
erals Villa and Angeles have gone west
from Monterey, which Is reported quiet
Carrsma forces from I -a redo and sur
rounding towns" are said to be concen
trated at Lampaxos.
"Advices dated April 1, trom the west
coast state that Carranza, forces are ad
vancing In the direction of Onsdnlajara
snd that Jose M. Addis, an Italian sub.
ject. has been imprisoned for three,
weeks, apparently by the Carranrlstai
at Mansanillo. Conditions are quiet i
