UNKNOWN OLD MAN KILLS
SELF BY CUTTING WRIST
In paaalng through a vacant lot at the
southwest cornor of Ninth and Howard
streets, P. B. Duncan of the Drelbua
Condy lompsny found the body of sn
elderly man lying behind a pile of old
hexea. Investigating, he found thai the
fellow had twice alnxhed bin left wrlrt
with a razor, severing the artery. The
coroner took the body and wan of the
opinion tnat the man hail laid in the lot
for a number of hours. Death came as
the result of loss of blood. The arms of
the suicide were covered with hypodermic
car, none of which appeared to have
bern influ ted recently. It la believed
that tile old ffllnw unnhle to eeclire d"pe
had nde Ms life through desperation.
No letter, papers or any other nrtlrlea
were; found en the body to give any clem
a to his Identity. The police failed to
recognise the man.
